Montenegro

A piece of paradise in the geografical heart of Europe

"At the birth of our planet, the most beautiful encounter between the land and the sea must have happened at the coast of Montenegro. When the pearls of nature were sown, handfuls of them were cast on this soil.” With these words, the English poet Lord Byron wrote describing his impressions in Montenegro.

Montenegro offers everything on a size smaller than Schleswig-Holstein: sea, lakes and 2500 meters high mountains. In addition, 5 national parks. Montenegro's pearls include the Tara Gorge, the longest and deepest canyon in Europe, the Kotor Bay, the southernmost fjord on the continent, and dreamy sandy beaches in the coastal region.

Here the aquamarine of the sea alternates with the blue of the sky, the white of the pebble beaches and the green of the pines and cypresses.

Where the mountains kiss the sea - Kotor is both a world cultural and natural heritage of UNESCO. With its fjord-like appearance, the Bay of Kotor is also called the southernmost fjord in Europe. The architecture and numerous monuments bear witness to the former rulers of the region, such as the Romans, Dalmatians, Venetians, French and Austrians. Montenegro is therefore still a cultural hotspot and an attractive destination for lovers of architecture and art.

There is probably no other country that is as diverse as Montenegro and offers so much natural beauty. Bathing in crystal clear water, mountain hiking, rafting, winter sports - feel like in Switzerland, Italy, Norway all within one day....

Let yourself be enchanted by the very special atmosphere and beauty of Montenegro and find your inner balance with us.

PS: Did you know that Montenegro is located in the heart of Europe - reachable in maximum 3 hours by plane from any European capital.
